Konica Minolta is showcasing a new range of printers at the Drupa 2008 exhibition.
The office products manufacturer has announced its new bizhub PRO 1600P, 2000P and 2500P models.
Konica Minolta claims that the devices have a printing speed of between 160 and 250 images per minute and offer "outstanding printing performance".
The bizhub printers have a standard capacity of 6,000 sheets and can be equipped with up to four paper trays. A wide variety of paper can be used, sized up to A3.
Heike Borsch, head of production printing at Konica Minolta, said that the devices fit in with the company’s motto of "scale up" for the Drupa show.
"We can now respond even more effectively to major print service providers’ specific need to produce very large output volumes of excellent quality within a short space of time," he added.
Konica’s "scale up" theme for Drupa aims to show visitors how far the business has come since its first appearance at the exhibition four years ago.

Epson has launched the new Stylus Pro 7900 and Stylus Pro 9900.
The new large format printers are being showcased on the company’s stand at the Drupa 2008 printing exhibition.
Epson’s SpectroProofer technology is integrated in the devices and the company claims it increases efficiency and reduces workload and operation costs.
The new devices allow users to carefully manage the colour workflow. The technology can allow for colour calibration tests to ensure it prints to the highest quality for longer periods.
Marco Van Niekerk, senior product manager for Epson Europe, said: "This winning technology combination will also address the remote proofing needs of production proofing companies by giving them a much needed in-line automated remote proofing solution for their large format printers."
Epson recently launched a new device that allowed for full-colour printing at the same cost as monochrome prints.
The B-500DN allows businesses to print more documents in colour at no extra cost, the company claims.

A new green desktop PC has been launched by Dell to give "industry-leading performance" to small businesses.

A new survey has found that businesses are not willing to save power on IT devices in data centres.
The study by the Aperture Research Institute found that 74 per cent of respondents would refuse to use power saving features on equipment if they believed it would lead to a drop in performance.
Out of the 100 data centre professionals surveyed, 48 per cent said the company was to blame for not using power saving features. They thought that the users of the machines would not be willing to endure a drop in performance to save power.
The study also found the presence of ghost servers, those not being used but still running, in 19 per cent of organisations.
Steve Yellen, principle of the Aperture Research Institute, said: "The number one cause of increasing power consumption is an increase in demand for IT services, so business managers must be made accountable for the energy their applications consume."
Aperture recently launched a complete range of software for Data Centre Service Management. The packages used best-practice processes for IT and facilities departments.

Switching to a better office design could increase staff morale and ensure higher levels of productivity in a company.
Web site bestsyndication.com says that businesses should break free of cubicle designed spaces and maximise the room available in the office.
Recent trends have leaned towards the open plan model. This can improve communication between employees and managers by taking down the barriers that previously hindered contact.
The site says that companies are now beginning to want an eco-friendly office design. Conserving energy in the office, using recycled materials and promoting recycling within the company can create a good first impression to potential clients or future employees.
It recommends that the existing problems resulting from the office space must be identified before redesigning is considered.
Property Week recently reported that the interior of the Angel Centre in Islington is to be redesigned before Cancer Research UK relocates its London headquarters to the building.

Xerox is launching a new multifunction printer aimed at speeding up office environments.
The company claims the WorkCentre 7346 multifunction printer "speeds through" documents and keeps office printing "humming".
Xerox says the new office product speeds up the printing of documents with imagery so as not to slow down the stream of print jobs. The WorkCentre 7346 can print at speeds of up to 40 pages per minute for colour and 45 for black and white.
Russell Peacock, president of Xerox, said: "Offices of any size thrive on speed.
"This system is designed to cut down the print queue so that employees can send a file to the printer, grab and go. No wait time means more work gets done."
An extra security feature on the WorkCentre 7346 is Secure Print, which allows users who want their documents to be confidential to enter a pin on the device before printing begins, so they are present to collect the item.
Xerox has recently unveiled a new business development service. The company works directly with print providers to increase page volume and revenue.

"The attention to detail with the design of these models ensures that it will take businesses less time to produce professional documents at higher quality than before."
A new collection of desktop and laptop computers have been launched by Toshiba as part of its new spring collection.
